Workspace

Rules and Equipments

    1. Any person wishing to book workshop space must be a production member, have read the regulations, and have completed the safety training provided by L’ODP.
    2. Members must reserve a time slot before arriving at the workshops.
    3. Members are encouraged to bring and use their own basic personal equipment in the workshops, such as safety glasses, measuring tape, pencils, and small drill bits.
    4. It is prohibited to operate machinery under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
    5. It is prohibited to obstruct circulation areas around machines.
    6. L’Œil de Poisson is not responsible for theft or loss of equipment or personal belongings.
    7. The technical team is available to answer questions regarding the operation of machines and tools. In case of doubt or uncertainty, members must seek advice from technicians to ensure their safety.
    8. Members are required to clean their workspace before the end of their booked time slot. Members who fail to comply with this rule will be charged cleaning fees equivalent to the hourly rate of on-site technicians.
    9. Members must complete and update their work log sheet at each visit. In case of omission, time will be estimated to the nearest half-day by a staff member.
    10. Production materials belonging to the workshops (wood, panels, steel, aluminum, etc.) may not be used without prior authorization.
    11. Materials brought in by members must be clearly identified. Unidentified materials will be considered abandoned after 7 days.
    12. ODP tools must remain inside the workshops at all times and may not be rented out.
    13. Members must respect the workspace by keeping common areas and workspaces free of clutter.
    14. Members must treat staff and other workshop users with respect.
    15. Members who are unable to attend their scheduled time slot must notify the workshops by email or phone. In case of absence without notice, a half-day rate will be charged.

    Members who fail to comply with any of these rules may have their membership suspended without reimbursement of fees.
